What is visited?

The town, with around 10,000 inhabitants, preserves the simplicity and tranquility of a fishing village, where the center is marked by a century-old tamarind tree and several dirt roads. The small and simple buildings give the place a bucolic and welcoming atmosphere, coexisting in harmony with inns and restaurants that host visitors.

The beaches of Gostoso are charming. Practically deserted, with long stretches of sand where the sound of the sea and the calm invite contemplation. Tourinhos Beach is the most visited in the area. The sea is calm, there are friendly beachfront stalls, and petrified dunes offering stunning views. The sunset is a show on its own: the sun slowly sets, casting intense reflections on the sea—simply unforgettable.

What you can do:

• Visit the BR-101 starting point, where there is a monument designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer.

• Taste the cachaça produced at Urca do Tubarão and explore the various antique objects on site. Nostalgia and fun are guaranteed!

• Explore more remote beaches by 4x4 or “jardineira” to visit Praia do Marco, where the first Portuguese are believed to have landed in the region in 1501.

• Enjoy the sunset at Tourinhos Beach.
