The simple and peaceful São Miguel do Gostoso is still little visited by tourists, but it is a frequent destination for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts and for visitors seeking tranquility.

What is visited?

The city, with about 10 thousand inhabitants, preserves the simplicity and tranquility of a fishing village, where the center is marked by a centenary tamarind tree and several dirt streets. The small and simple buildings give the place a bucolic and welcoming atmosphere, and coexist in harmony with inns and restaurants that welcome tourists.

The beaches of Gostoso are charming. Practically deserted, with extensive stretches of sand where the sound of the sea and the calm invite contemplation. Tourinhos Beach is the most frequented in the city. The sea is calm, there are charming little stalls by the sea and petrified dunes from which you can contemplate an impressive view of the beach. The sunset is a spectacle in itself, the sun lazily bids farewell, casting intense reflections on the sea: simply unforgettable!

What you can do:

• Visit the Marco Zero of BR 101, where there is a monument by architect Oscar Niemeyer.

• Try the cachaça produced at Urca do Tubarão and observe the various antique objects on site. Nostalgia and fun are guaranteed!

• Contemplate the sunset at Tourinhos Beach.
